Devitalize is the first single to come from Chain & The Gang’s new long player Minimum Rock N Roll, which sees a release via Fortuna POP! on the 14th April.
It is an appropriate album title, as the band gleefully appropriate rock n roll, blues, gospel, and those classic vocal quartets from the late 50s /early 60s and turn it into something minimal and ferocious.
The single is a scuzzy call to arms. A rejection of the vapid commercialisation of just about everything and a diatribe against the stupefied torpor of the self-satisfied consumer.
