About six years ago, Song By Toad was one of the music blogs that made us want to kick off Mad Mackerel, and to this day we are still regular readers. As many of you will know, as well as a blog, it is also a record label and has included such MM faves as Eagleowl, Nightjar, Meursault, Rob St. John and Sparrow & The Workshop amongst its releases.
As with previous years they are releasing a 2014 label sampler that includes Virgin of the Birds, Animal Magic Tricks, Meursault, The Leg and an exclusive new track from the aforementioned Sparrow & The Workshop.
