This October the marvellous Protomartyr will release their third album, The Agent Intellect.
Over the course of several months, guitarist Greg Ahee waded through more than a hundred song fragments turning them into a mix of charred pop, titanic churn and singular visceral melodies.
They have shared the first single off the album, Why Does It Shake?, which they describe as “a back-handed ode to humanity’s resilient self regard in the face of inevitable oblivion. Then the trap door opens.”
