Boston based folk punk band Absinthe Rose have announced their upcoming full length Black Earth, set to release September 4th via Screech Owl Records and available digitally via Bandcamp.

Led by singer-songwriter Kimbo Rose, the album tackles themes of self discovery, social justice, and environmental issues with dense lyrical content matched with ever changing musical stylings. From traditional folk to alternative rock to gypsy jazz, Kimbo’s powerful vocals lead the album through it’s various twists and turns.
