Dan Melchior Plays ‘The Grays’ is the title of the singer/songwriter’s new album due out this month on Ever/Never.

Sometimes music is made that is not beautiful, but which expresses emotions and a depth of feeling in a way no other medium can. Following the tragic death of his wife, Letha Rodman Melchior, after a long, long battle against cancer, the first track from this record does just that. The incredibly harrowing six minutes of Death Don’t Have No Mercy is not an easy listen, but it is one of the most compelling and powerfully visceral ones you will experience and for that is unforgettable.
