Keep The Car Running is the second track to be shared from Silver Torches’ upcoming record Let It Be A Dream.
With echoes of Ryan Adams or the pin-sharp observations of Paul Westerberg, it also shares some of the same expansive melancholia of the new War On Drugs record, but without sacrificing anything of the robustness of songwriting that marked out their excellent debut Heatherfield.
Keep The Car Running freewheels along on the back of an almost jaunty guitar riff and catchy percussion and is well worth three minutes of your time.
