LA duo Gum Country’s self-described “harsh twee” project began back in Vancouver as a series of lo-fi four track recordings made in an apartment, very quietly.

After relocating, the pair recorded their debut full-length album Somewhere, which draws on influences from Sterelolab and The Replacements to The Magnetic Fields and Yo La Tengo.

The record is out on the 19th June and the second single from it is this driving, infectious, fuzzed up gem of indie-pop, Tennis (I Feel OK). We’ve had this on repeat most of today and love it more with every listen.
