LA based psych band, Jeffertitti’s Nile, are spreading the love with a free download of new blissed-out, hazy track Mountain Jam. Formed and fronted by Father John Misty bassist, Jeffertitti Moon alongside multi-instrumentalist, Iggy Star Child and drummer, Michael Villiers, the band bring back to life the vibe of the 1960s Topanga Canyon scene in modern day LA. Deeply hypnotic, the group’s ambient drones and … Continue reading Jeffertitti’s Nile Get All Blissed Out
Sunwolf’s new single Push It is the perfect sub two and a half minute introduction to their forthcoming EP Angel Eyes (out on the 8th October via El Ray Records). Mixing a Nico style vocal delivery with often darker-than-night lyrics, she was an absolute delight and we are looking forward … Continue reading Mad Mackerel Discovers Marika Hackman

The wonderful Eagulls are purveyors of some of the sharpest, smartest and most opinionated music around at the moment. Punk riffs and swagger combine with slacker inspired indie melodies to create an output that is hypnotic as it is propulsive and raucous. Listen to the concise, concentrated blast of new single Nerve Endings, a ringing, urgent pop song with jagged hooks and serrated vocals. Marvellous. Out on … Continue reading New Single From The Eagulls
The Crooked Fiddle Band have announced the release of a double A-side single ahead of their upcoming second LP, Moving Pieces Of The Sea. Pairing two album tracks, the double A side couples The Vanishing Shapes of a Better World – an epic and compelling instrumental, vast in scope and wide in breadth with Deepwater Drownings Part I, a track that opens with dark tidal overtures … Continue reading Introducing >>> The Crooked Fiddle Band
