The record is a heady blend of wonked-out guitars, Moog synths and pattering drums, set against droning, coiling clouds of flutes and voices. The duo have shared the first track from the record. A somewhat cynical examination of the … Continue reading Introducing >>> LUMP

Introducing >>> MNNQNS

New FatCat Records signings MNNQNS are ticking MM’s post-punk boxes – tightly woven guitars, deadpan vocals, and a healthy dose of feedback. It is a breezy, jaunty track of folkish rock that has a singalong chorus, and is just one of those instantly likeable toe-tapping, head nodding tunes that is impossible to resist. Watch the video for it below.   Continue reading Lou Barlow – Love Intervene

DRINKS – Corner Shops

Hippo Lite, the new album from DRINKS (Cate Le Bon and Tim Presley of White Fence) is out on the 20th April, the follow up to 2015’s Hermits On Holiday. The latest song to be shared from it is Corner Shops, a typically oddball, off kilter track of skewed pop that somehow manages to be restrained and chaotic at the same time. Have a listen. … Continue reading DRINKS – Corner Shops
