Songs: Ohia Box Set For RSD

Secretly Canadian have announced the release of a deluxe box set of rare recordings from Jason Molina’s Songs: Ohia, for Record Store Day in April.

Gathered within Journey On: Collected Singles are many of the charming, haunting and elegantly disparate moments lost in the void of limited pressings and merch tables across Songs: Ohia’s six year course.

Have a listen to Soul below.

R.I.P. Jason Molina

Like Vic Chesnutt and Mark Linkous (of Sparklehorse), Jason Molina was a truly unique songwriting voice, a genuine poet who could capture in a few short lines what others would fail to say in a whole song. That he should lose his battle with alcoholism at the age of just 39 is a tragedy.
