The Mother Hips’ eighth studio album, Behind Beyond, is out on the band’s own Mother Hips Records imprint. The album marks 20 years since their first release for Rick Rubin’s American Recordings.

The band have premiered a free album track, Song for JB, written for the late Jay Bennett of Wilco, via Rolling Stone. It is a touching, affecting track and shows they’ve lost none of their cosmic country chops.
