Brisbane’s Bottlecock are a trio that deal in the scuzzier end of the musical spectrum releasing a long player at the end of 2014 simply called Record that mixed noisy short sharp punk shocks with slow-burning epic sludgey grunge.
One of the stand out tracks from that record was the marvellously monikered Girt By Dickheads, which is now seeing a single release and takes infectious pop riffs and drowns them in the trio’s trademark wash of feedback and metallic distortion.
