When we got an e-mail from The Thick Shakes promising us snarling, fuzzy, catchy pop tunes we had to give the EP Ooh Mummy a listen.

To be completely honest, quite often things don’t live up to the promise of the write-up, and we sometimes are left a little disappointed.

Not on this occasion.

The Ep delivers eight tracks, only one managing to creep over the three minute mark, of authentic, lo-fi, scuzzy garage rock and all tracks happily snarl, all are fuzzed up, and all are catchy. Eight out of eight boys!
