This is a pretty special taster from the forthcoming album by Sun Kil Moon called Admiral Fell Promises. SKM is the musical project of ex-Red House Painters Mark Kozelek, it is out mid-July, and you can pre-order directly from the label, Calo Verde Records.

The acoustic album was recorded all alone on just a nylon string guitar and this track titled Australian Winter is one of those songs that demand your full, undivided attention when listening to it. In equal measure sparse and bleak with a vocal that harks back to classic British folk of the sixties it is simply mesmerising.
