The Black Hand Gang hail from urban Scotland, but their hearts would seem to be just as firmly ensconced in the America of backwood swamps and dusty plains that call to mind some of the greats like Creedence Clearwater Revival and Neil Young.

Put these influences together and you get soaring passion and raw emotion anchored by some down-to-earth Glasgow grit. The songs from their self-titled debut EP are a confident mix of Sun era rockabilly, a dash of blues, and some full on indie rock.
