Over the past few years, New York’s Bones Howell have been working on a full-length album sparing no time or expense to fulfill their vision. In 10 tracks the album conjures up images of an older New York, using punk, new wave, no wave, goth, and rock with a 21st century imagination.

In the meantime, the group has collaborated with Bauhaus and Love & Rockets member Daniel Ash on a 7” single. Bones Howell re-imagines the Bauhaus classic Hair of the Dog, while Ash has remixed standout Nephritis from the upcoming full-length album. This teaser showcases not only one of Howell’s influences, but also how his own songwriting matches up with a classic.
