We are thoroughly enjoying the uptempo blend of indie rock and folk that is the domain of the Bonesetters.

Debut album Savages was finally released last month after being much delayed following the demise of previous label Mossback Records. A successful Kickstarter campaign meant it finally saw the light of day albeit a few months late.

The wait appears very much worth it though on the evidence of Maypole, a perfect example of their tight, clean sound and ear for a catchy rhythm. Sharp lyrics and even sharper melodies.
