We’ve already posted twice about Guy Capecelatro III, so this marks a hat-trick of posts from his new album North For The Winter. Having given you the sly, mischievous wit of Girlfriends and the sparse, carefully constructed poem-like Like Anything, we have what might just be the best of the lot in his latest single, Switch.

It is the tale of a killer who meets a woman who proves to be his undoing. With pedal steel and Hammond organ, Capecelatro creates an uplifting feel despite the grisly subject, his melancholy voice casting a warm light on both killer and victim.
