Thrill Jockey are releasing a split LP by Hush Arbors and Arbouretum on Record Store Day, and we have a track from the Arbouretum side for you to check out and download.
In their own ways, each been exploring for years now the intersection of progressive folk and psychedelic rock and so it seems a good fit for a split release. Hush Arbors are all haunting beauty and sweetness with a melancholy tinge while Arbouretum are looser, with a Velvets style penchant for repetition and an expansiveness that sees them exploring the edges of acid-guitar psychedelia.
