We’ve featured Daddy Lion a couple of times in the past and we’ve been spinning his debut album Habitat more and more over the past few weeks since we first got hold of a copy.
Dabbling in genres from 80s synth pop to indie rock to spaghetti western, the record is intimately lo-fi, packed with warm guitar strings, crafted melodies, and sophisticated textures.
The album has a limited CD release on American label 24 Hour Service Station (get it here) and is currently available for free digital download via his Bandcamp page here.
Or just tryout a couple of standout tracks from the record here first.
