Indian Jewelry’s sixth and most adventurous work to date, Peel It sees the uncompromising Houston collective venturing into the darklands of noise, psych, dub, and experimental rock. Though currently based in Brooklyn, the band remain flagbearers for the long Texas tradition of outsider rock ‘n’ roll, a grand, precarious history spanning the 13th Floor Elevators and Red Krayola, Jandek and Butthole Surfers.
