You may well recall from previous posts that Ex-Creation Records artists Pete Fij / Terry Bickers have turned their amps down and teamed up to create a melancholic, downbeat set of songs like the Velvet Underground gone acoustic or Simon & Garfunkel on downers.

Latest single is Downsizing upon which they claim to have spend their entire £3 marketing budget on a session in a supermarket passport photo booth. Be that as it may, they have come up with another understated gem of a song that deals with the down sizing of people’s love lives. Appropriately enough the melancholic duo’s album Broken Heart Surgery is due for release on Valentines Day next year!
