TURCHI describe their sound as “kudzu boogie” which seems an entirely appropriate description to us – blending as it does an Americana style narrative with some swamp blues, plenty of slide guitar and more than a dash of relentless southern-fried groove.

Their most recent release – a 10″ vinyl EP titled My Time Ain’t Now includes this gem of a cover of Josh Ritter’s Mind’s Eye, all laid back guitars and gravelly vocals – it’s well worth three minutes of your time.
