Americana quartet Runaway Dorothy released their latest album, The Wait at the end of February and it is a lovely mix of rustic yet refined Alt-Country, where stories are told, hearts are broken, sorrows are drowned, and murder is contemplated.

There are haunting, melancholy ballads, beautiful harmonies, and gritty, down-to-earth country tales. And these are all songs that have been tested, refined and honed in the unforgiving environment of New York subway platforms where the band regularly played, battling for attention against the sounds and the daily rush of hurrying commuters.
