Brooklyn-based five-piece Clouder recently released their sophomore album, Sister Raygun, via Fleeting Youth Records. It is a record that over ten tracks explores themes of emotional turmoil, anxiety, paranoia, debauchery, loneliness, and reverie.
We have the first two singles for your listening edification. The first is Lost In Reverie, a romping rock track about a faceless female presence that’s propelled by antsy guitars that morph in and out of surf and psychedelic jangles while lead singer Eric Gilstrap’s own crazed instrument shifts seamlessly between droning pitches and invigorating yelps up towards the moon.
The second is Phantom Girl, a pulsating, riotous reflection on a drunken night in Brooklyn searching for a girl with electric eyes.
