Hyde & Beast are a Sunderland duo made up of Dave Hyde and Neil Bassett. Dave (Hyde) is the drummer from The Futureheads and Neil (Beast) was in The Golden Virgins. Their highly-praised debut album, and one of our favourites of that year, Slow Down came out in 2011 on their own label Tail Feather Records.
Now the long wait for new material is over with the release of a free download of Blue, a winning combo of glam-infused rock and dreamy, psych filled pop.
