Montreal’s The Barr Brothers have announced details of their new album, Sleeping Operator, out on October 6th, through Secret City Records.
The thirteen songs explore the far reaches of folk, laced with West African influences, hypnotic modernist pulsing and beyond. Yet while the record extends into cinematic and other-worldly territories, it still manages to maintain a campfire-like intimacy throughout.
