Long standing psych-rockers Asteroid No.4 have announced they will be releasing their eighth full-length album this autumn. The band have shared a couple of tracks already from the record, the transcendent, fuzzed-out first track, Rukma Vimana and the pulsating, hypnotic Back Of Your Mind.
Mixing krautrock, shoegaze, folk and some cosmic country whilst employing sitars, eastern-tinged sparsity, and space-rock fueled anthems, the results are a heady and gratifying stew of mind-altering jams that traverse the psychedelia continum from Hawkwind to the Wooden Shjips via Spacemen 3.
Stream both below. The album is out on the 23rd September on UK label Bad Vibrations Records.
