A couple of things that we love are The Walking Dead (roll on the continuation of Season 5 next month) and psych-punk.

An unlikely combination you might think, but not so.

Enter Margaret Mead is a primitivist psych-punk band from Brooklyn, made up of the former members of other bands who share an interest in cultural anthropology.

Ape Tag is an estranged love song, inspired by the story of Shannon Richardson, an actress with a minor role on The Walking Dead, who was sentenced to 18 years in prison for sending ricin-laced letters to public officials including President Obama. The song is written from the point of view of Shannon’s husband, whom she attempted to frame for the toxic missives.
