More From Flesh World

Having already shared Just To Tear Me Down earlier this month, we are loving Poolside Boys, another new tune from Flesh World. It too is taken from their upcoming album, The Wild Animals In My Life, out via Iron Lung Records on the 2nd June.

As with the previous track, the post-punk influences ranging from Felt to the Cramps are there, but there is a brooding, fatalistic air that contrasts brilliantly with the inexorable, hypnotic patterns woven by the guitars. It somehow manages to be simultaneously catchy and darkly ominous, and it is putting the album high on our ‘must-have’ list for the summer.
