It is more than two years since we’ve posted about Dead Stars, and I have to confess we somehow missed their debut album Slumber last summer.

Calm Punk is the band’s first new release since then and is a welcome return and reminder of the Brooklyn-based trio’s fuzzy, hook-filled brand of indie-rock.
