Black Vincent’s album Teardrop Deluxe features nine tracks steeped in rockabilly and early rock n’ roll with subtle nods to glam and post-punk. With vocals that show a clear affinity to balladeers such as Johnnie Ray, Roy Orbison and Frank Sinatra, as well as more contemporary crooners like Chris Isaak and Richard Hawley, there is much to like here.
