After a decade of fronting Delta Spirit, Matthew Logan Vasquez has decided to go it alone for the first time with his solo debut, The Austin EP, to be released November 3, and a full length LP, Solicitor Returns, to shortly follow in early 2016.

The EP opens with an epic, 18-minute psych-folk autobiography of sorts. The deeply personal song Austin is based on Vasquez’ time growing up in the Texas capital that conjures desert visions of Crazy Horse guitar solos, David Crosby’s moustache, and all the good things about a journey through the past on mescaline!

For now though listen to the first single, the altogether shorter (three minutes) Everything I Do Is Out.
