Stripping down their garage rock abandon and jangly oeuvre even further for new album Sinking Ships (out early 2016), Portland based trio Hey Lover hones in on a pop-punk realm on a set of highly addictive tracks like opener I Wanna Be With You, the barebones rhythm-driven Ahhh, and the  raucous Problem.
