Dreaming Heart is another track from We/Or/Me’s recently released album Everything Behind Us Is A Dream.

It is a simply gorgeous slice of gently swirling Americana – dark and serene, this track takes listeners to Chicago’s Rogers Park, on the coast of Lake Michigan, where a weary traveler stares over the water, talking to someone who is no longer there.

It is a slow dance to the sound of fleeting memories and dreams. But what keeps it from falling into despondency is its overt optimism, conveyed through beautiful female harmonies, bright piano assertions, and the familiar, steady rhythm of singer Bahhaj Taherzadeh’s acoustic as if walking along the shore on a grey, Chicago afternoon.
