radical faceHere is another exquisite track of sweetly strummed, gentle Americana from Radical Face.

The work of singer-songwriter Ben Cooper (he took the name from an advert for plastic surgery), The Ship In Port is taken from forthcoming album The Leaves (due 25th March).

The record is the final one in a trilogy of records dubbed The Family Tree, which began from a desire to write his own family saga, only in music form instead of a novel. It has taken eight years to complete, and began with The Roots, and was followed by The Branches.
