We’ve not heard much from Timothy Showalter aka Strand of Oaks since 2014’s HEAL.
That’s set to change with the announcement of a new album Hard Love, due in February on Dead Oceans.
The first taste comes in the shape of Radio Kids, a typically fuzzy slab of indie rock that recalls the halcyon 90s in its crunchy guitar riffs and anthemic chorus.

LOVED HEAL (that’s a lot of caps) and I hope Hard Love captures me in the same way. I met and interviewed Tim shortly after HEAL came out and was very happy that experience made me like his music more.
