The Growlers have shared their cover of Mud’s 1974 festive no. 1, Lonely This Christmas, which was recorded durning their 2016 three night holiday run at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. It is deliberately performed in the style of Elvis Presley’s slower songs from his later career though, despite several incorrectly-labelled videos on YouTube, the band found out the King never recorded the song.
