Untitled (LA) is the second taste from Swearin’s upcoming full length Fall into the Sun, their first for five years.

It is another cracking track. Opening on the back of a great riff, the song sets off in a hurry and doesn’t look back – melodic, garage punk at its best.

No less than four new videos for you to immerse yourself in this morning.

We have Besnard Lakes depicting the life of a man struggling to retain his grip on reality in Colour Yr Lights In and from Swearin’ we have their bedroom rehearsal video for Dust In The Gold Sack.

Fuzzy, blissed out indie rockers Forest have released a new video for lead single Coaster ahead of their Caramel Arms EP release on October 28th via Indelabel. The footage was shot on a farm in their home town of Cambridge by the band themselves. Lastly LA duo Pyyramids have given us this fan funded crowd-surfing video for Invisible Scream from their newly released EP of the same name.

The Gathering - A Playlist

This weekend sees the annual Gathering festival in Oxford – a brilliant event that takes in seven venues around the city and runs from the afternoon into the wee small hours.

This year the line up includes such MM luminaries as Local Natives, Drenge, Waxahatchee, Temples, Charlie Boyer & The Voyeurs, Pyyramids, Port Isla, Wolf Alice, To Kill A King, Cheatahs and a whole host more.

For a very reasonable £25 you get a wristband that gives you entry into all the events and venues and you just pick and choose whatever takes your fancy. Tickets are almost all gone, but you may be able to snap up one of the last few by clicking here.

If not, console yourself with this rather good playlist of tunes…
