Palmyra are a New York band (with some Michigan roots). They are singer-songwriter driven and dabble in everything from indie folk to indie rock often by way of a bit of power pop or even some smooth horn. They reminded us a bit of She & Him or even of forgotten Brit indie-poppers The Brilliant Corners.

They have a very limited five track EP available from their live shows called The City, On Repeat, which is filled with lovely harmonies and this stand out track – the excellently named Suicidal Female Poets.
