We’ve posted about the much under-rated psych-pop-folk of Pepper Rabbit in the past, and we’re hoping that their forthcoming new album Red Velvet Snow Ball will get them much more of the attention they surely deserve.

We have a couple of tasters from the record for you. Murder Room (via Stereogum) is a cracker, the dark undertone takes its time to bubble to the surface before dragging you back down in to its hidden depths. Rose Mary Stretch has a poppy, west coast feel which can’t hide the acerbic nature of the break-up lyrics.
