Survival, the 2008 debut album from Forest Fire was one of those records that slowly and surely crept up on you and seduced you with its charming mix of weirded out country, folk and blues. It deservedly garnered much critical acclaim and their set at the End of the Road festival last year more than lived up to mine and Barry-Sean’s expectations.

Now, after too many years, they are back with a follow up titled Staring At The X. First track to get an airing is Future Shadows and all we need to tell you is that the wait looks like being worth it. Enjoy.
