We were big fans of Peggy Sue’s excellent debut long player Fossils And Other Phantoms, and recently had our appetites whetted for the forthcoming new album Acrobats on Marc Riley’s 6 Music show when he played out one evening with the six minute, slow brooding burn of Cut My Teeth. While the darkness of the first album clearly remains intact, this has a heavier, more viscous feel and we’re really rather taken with it.

Until now it has been available for the price of an e-mail on their website, but Spinner have made it available as an mp3 Of The Day, so we figured a deserved re-post should be OK.
