In A Cloud was a excellent compilation of San Francisco bands released by Secret Seven Records. Now they have announced In A Cloud II, a new vinyl-only compilation with 13 previously unreleased recordings by some of San Francisco’s finest, which include many MM faves.
Contributors are Vetiver, Ty Segall, Hannah Lew (of Grass Widow), Wymond Miles (of Fresh & Onlys), Chuck Prophet, Lucky Eyes, Will Sprott (of The Mumlers), Sonny & The Sunsets, Paula Frazer, Kelley Stoltz, Bad Backs, Tim Cohen (of Fresh & Onlys), and Papercuts.
With excellent cover art by Simon Evans, these are limited to 850 copies and will be released on the 17th July. It can pre-ordered here.
Unlike most similar releases, this sets the bar high from the outset and then manages to maintain the standards throughout, Have a listen to some of our favourites from the chiming, cascading pastoral folk of Vetiver to the classic country rock of Chuck Prophet and the gently infectious strum of Kelley Stoltz.
