A few weeks ago, Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo were invited down to the BBC Maida Vale studios to take part in the annual ‘Choir of Angels’ session for Dermot O’Leary’s 2012 Christmas Show. It’s a Christmas affair involving three other singer-songwriters, those being Ren Harvieu, Rumer and Kristina Train. Each chose a Christmas song that they wanted to cover and headed into the studio for the day.

The Red Clay Halo arranged string, piano, flute and accordion parts whilst Kristina, Ren, Rumer and Emily worked on the harmonies. The song they chose to cover was Christmas Time is Here from the Charlie Brown cartoon. You can download it for free here…
