Back in June we featured the whiskey drenched folk of Jesse Woods and his track Gold In The Air in one of our Video of the Day posts.

Since then we’ve become rather more intimately acquainted with his forthcoming debut album Get Your Burdens Lifted, which sees a release on August 6th via Guns In The Sun.

And the pleasure has been all ours because this one is the real deal. Every track is a understated masterpiece of poignant, smoky Americana that so many strive for yet fall short. The stunning Lazerburn is the latest single and you can stream it below along with the outstanding Gold In The Air and the sweet melody of the beautifully judged Danger In The Dancehall.

This one looks like a shoo-in for the end of year best of lists.
