Festive Fayre (8): Sweet Baboo

After releasing his well received third album The Boombox Ballads earlier this year, Sweet Baboo has announced a new EP, alongside a UK tour for 2016.

Entitled Dennis, the  six track EP will be released on Feb 26th through Moshi Moshi. It includes a Christmas song, three covers (Daniel Johnston, The Exciters, The Beach Boys) and two previously unreleased tracks from his TBB album sessions.

You can stream or download Don’t Be Alone (This Christmas) from it below. Written in the summer, the inspiration for the song, according to main man Stephen Black, came around the time of the Labour leadership debate when he had imagined Jeremy Corbyn as Father Christmas…
