Hit Bargain – Song For Fainting

Hit Bargain are a Los Angeles punk outfit, and progenitors of a new genre — “queencore“, the intersection of queer, queening and hardcore.  They have shared the second track from their forthcoming self-titled debut EP, out on the 25th March.

Song For Fainting literally tells the tale of someone collapsing in the street, but from both the passerby’s and the fainter’s perspectives. It was inspired by a real-life incident that befell guitarist Mike Barron and is a fiercely propulsive slab of powerful, and catchy, noise.
