NOTS are still that punky, wild guitar band that we saw and loved at the Great Escape last year, but move into a whole new level of potency on their upcoming Cruel Friend / Violence 7″ due out on Goner later this month.

In fact Violence creepy crawls without guitars in a synthier, stealthier attack, whilst Cruel Friend combines excellent riffage with near-Hawkwind levels of linear soarage and soak from the synths, with Natalie Hoffmann’s dominating presence on vocals intact.
