Dan Michaelson will release his new solo album First Light through The state51 Conspiracy on 8th December. It is his first album away from his band The Coastguards since 2011’s Sudden Fiction.

Old Kisses, the first track taken from his new album, has more than a touch of the great Leonard Cohen’s reflectiveness and candour about it and “imagines a place where every intimate moment is made material and we are surrounded by the debris of our emotion“.
